ONTRACK Program Resources (ONTRACK), in partnership with Alameda County Behavioral Health Care Services, with funding from the California Department of Health Care Services, will work with agencies throughout the County to increase and improve outreach, access, engagement, and outcomes for African American adults, and TAY seeking SUD and other recovery support services.
- Inform TA and training service delivery plans through a system-wide needs assessment, including SUD beneficiary engagement
- Increase the capacity of organizations to provide culturally relevant, and responsive outreach and engagement of African Americans, utilizing the concepts and strategies found in the National Standards for Culturally & Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS)
- Infuse cultural competence into all aspects of the County’s management and service delivery system
- Expand and strengthen linkages to essential non-SUD quality of life recovery supports, and services, by building collaborations between various organizations and systems to mobilize broader community action, and provide wider safety nets of support
- Deliver high quality, customized TA designed to strengthen Alameda County SUD organizational infrastructures, data collection, culturally responsive and trauma-informed services
- Identify cross-system service delivery gaps and facilitate strategies to improve connections and engagement of African American TAY and adults
- Design and produce regional training events focusing on specific African American subpopulations, including ment, formerly incarcerated, women, women with children, LGBTQ, and TAY populations
