Project Details

This project  provides training and expertise on the prevention and/or reduction of problem and pathological  gambling  and its harmful effects.   Trainings are provided using culturally and linguistically competent  strategies.  In addition, this project will provide information on treatment resources.  Trainings include how to recognize signs and symptoms of problem gambling and respond appropriately.

Population or Groups Served:

Mental health and addiction treatment service providers, community leaders, clergy, justice agencies, and a broad range of other service providers.

Eligibility Criteria:

Community-based organizations, local and county government agencies and programs, addiction treatment service providers, mental health service providers, churches and neighborhood groups.
